Police have begun a search of the "Adhadhu" online news office under a court order, following the release of a documentary titled "Aisha" on the outlet's social media platforms.
Police entered the news outlet's office after President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu requested relevant authorities to take legal action against those involved, labeling the claims made in the documentary as false.
The documentary, released by Adhadhu news on the 28th of last month, is based on an interview with an anonymous individual. In the video, a former employee of the President’s Office alleges a personal relationship with President Muizzu and levels several serious accusations against him.
