A major fire has broken out on an oil tanker docked at the F. Feeali harbor, resulting in a dangerous emergency situation.
In a message to the media, the police stated that they received a report of a fire breaking out on an oil tanker docked at the Feeali harbor around 09:15 on Thursday morning. They further noted that efforts are currently underway to extinguish the blaze.
RaajjeMV has learned that the oil barge where the fire originated was carrying a large number of fuel barrels. The fire, which broke out on the barge, subsequently spread to three nearby vessels. Notably, the incident occurred in close proximity to a fuel station and the Feeali ice plant.
