President Solih and the MDP delegation receive a warm welcome in Fuvahmulah City
Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and a high-level MDP delegation have inaugurated a party campaign hub in Fuvahmulah City following a large-scale motorcycle rally with local supporters. During the visit, the former president is scheduled to meet with local council candidates, participate in door-to-door campaign activities, and headline a special rally as part of the party's election outreach.

The residents of Fuvahmulah City have extended a warm welcome to former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the MDP delegation upon their arrival for the Local Council Election campaign.
President Solih arrived in the city on Friday evening. He was accompanied on this trip by MDP President Abdulla Shahid, as well as several Members of Parliament and members of the party's National Council. A large crowd of residents, including children and the elderly, gathered at the harbor area to welcome him. As they greeted the former President, members of the public expressed their gratitude, highlighting the various development projects and services he delivered to Fuvahmulah City during the previous MDP administration.
Additionally, a motorcycle rally was held with hundreds of the city's residents. Following the rally, President Solih officially inaugurated the campaign center by hoisting the MDP flag. Furthermore, the President is scheduled to meet with the MDP candidates contesting the Fuvahmulah City Council elections, as well as the campaign's leadership team. An MDP campaign rally is also slated to take place on Friday night.
During this visit, President Solih is scheduled to meet with members of the MDP. Additionally, he is set to join candidates in the island for door-to-door campaigning ahead of the council elections.
