MDP National Congress member Mohamed Ihusan has assured that a "no" vote in the referendum scheduled for April 4 will prove to be a highly beneficial outcome for the public.

Ihsan made these remarks during a pickup rally held by the MDP on Saturday. During the event, MDP members highlighted that the referendum scheduled for April 4 is a deceptive move by the government. Consequently, they urged the public to cast their votes by marking the "No" box.

Furthermore, members highlighted that the outcome of this election would effectively reduce the current parliamentary term by six months. They accused the government of misleading the public on this matter and leveled sharp criticism against both the current administration and the Attorney General.

Speaking at the gathering, MDP National Congress member Mohamed Ihusan stated that even during the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the MDP administration prioritized minimizing the hardships faced by the general public. He highlighted that the party facilitated various support mechanisms, including the income support allowance and other forms of assistance, to aid citizens during that period.

However, Ihusan stated that even in a state of war, the current administration continues to deceive the public and withhold information, adding that the government's sole priority remains its own political advancement.

Even in a state of conflict, the current administration continues to deceive the public and operate in secrecy. For this government, the only true priority is political gain.
