Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a deceased man inside a residence in Male'. The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Mohamed Nizar, a native of Thoathaaparee in Hulhudhoo, Addu City.

A person has been found dead inside a house on Dhakandhaa Magu in Maafannu on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Mohamed Nizar, of Thoathaaparee, S. Hulhudhoo.
A police media official stated that the incident was reported to the authorities at approximately 1:01 p.m. on Friday. Upon receiving the report, a police team was immediately dispatched to the scene to commence an investigation.
Police stated that investigations conducted so far have found no evidence of foul play or third-party involvement in the individual's death. However, authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter to clarify further details surrounding the incident.
In accordance with standard police procedure for such incidents, the body of the deceased has been transported to the hospital. It is standard practice to transfer the body to a medical facility to conduct forensic examinations and determine the exact cause of death.
