Two youths arrested for smuggling six kilograms of narcotics
When the two suspects were brought before the court to determine their detention status in connection with the case, the court ordered them to be remanded in custody for five days.

Two individuals have been arrested for smuggling more than six kilograms of narcotics into the Maldives via sea.
The two individuals were arrested on suspicion of importing, possessing, and using narcotics, as well as engaging in the sale and distribution of illicit drugs in the Maldives.
The individuals arrested in connection with this case have been identified as Ismail Abaan Abdulla, 25, of Ma. Tharijehiage, Male', and Ahmed Dhaan Faruhood, 19, of Raiymaage, S. Maradhoo.
The two individuals were arrested on October 5 during a joint operation conducted by Maldives Customs Service and the Drug Enforcement Department. Upon their arrest and subsequent search, authorities seized more than six kilograms of narcotics.
When the two suspects were brought before the court to determine their detention status in connection with the case, the court ordered them to be remanded in custody for five days.
The police are currently investigating the matter.
