A young activist who played a pivotal role in the formation of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and worked extensively to bring the party to power has been suspended from his job for refusing to support the party’s candidates.
In an interview with RaajjeMV, he stated that he was not informed of the reason for his suspension at the time it was issued. He noted that he believes the action was taken because he refused to yield and support PNC candidates. He further highlighted his contributions to the party, noting that he was among those who signed to meet the initial 3,000-signature requirement to form the PNC and had worked extensively toward its establishment.
I have been a dedicated supporter of the PNC government, working tirelessly across all elections since its inception. For the past six years, I have also served as a technician at Fenaka Corporation. Today, I have been placed under a 30-day suspension without any clear justification. I believe this action was taken against me simply because I refused to bow down to PNC officials in Kondey during the recent campaigns for the party's candidates.Youth suspended from employment
Furthermore, he stated that he would work more closely with the MDP than ever before and do everything necessary to ensure the election of the party's five candidates. He added that he would not be intimidated by threats to his employment, asserting that he has taken a firm stand this time to bring about change.
He stated that attempts to garner support for candidates through workplace intimidation and the abuse of influence would not succeed. He further remarked that affection can only be earned through genuine care.
