The President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Abdulla Shahid, was accorded a warm welcome by the residents of Fuvahmulah City upon his arrival for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee election campaigns.
A large number of residents gathered to extend a warm welcome to the MDP campaign team upon their arrival in Fuvahmulah City on Friday.
Numerous campaign activities have been conducted across the districts of Addu City as part of the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections. In addition to door-to-door campaigning throughout the city, meetings were held with candidates to engage in extensive discussions.
The delegation that arrived in Fuvahmulah City on Friday includes MDP President Abdulla Shahid, Maradhoo MP Ahmed Didi, and former Member of Parliament Ahmed Abdulla, along with several general members of the party.
During this visit, which includes the participation of MDP President Abdulla Shahid, door-to-door campaign activities and the official opening of campaign centers are scheduled to take place in both cities.
