MDP President Abdulla Shahid departs for Addu City to campaign for the upcoming local council elections
The trip is scheduled to include door-to-door campaigning, the inauguration of campaign centers, and high-level discussions with candidates. Following the official campaign launch on the 12th of this month, the party has been actively intensifying its political activities across various islands in the atolls.

The President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Abdulla Shahid, has departed for Addu City to campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
MDP President Abdulla Shahid, along with several general members of the party and members of Parliament, will participate in the campaign for the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
As part of this trip, campaign activities are scheduled to take place in Fuvahmulah City, in addition to Addu City. Following the official launch of the campaign for the upcoming local council and Women's Development Committee elections on the night of the 12th of this month, the MDP has been visiting various islands across the atolls.
During this visit, which includes the participation of MDP President Abdulla Shahid, door-to-door campaign activities and the inauguration of campaign centers are scheduled to take place in both cities.
Furthermore, he will meet with the candidates to engage in high-level discussions.
