Boat Fire: Five Injured Individuals Currently Receiving Treatment
Following reports of the incident, MNDF firefighters and police officers were deployed to the scene, and the injured individuals have since been transported to Male' for medical treatment.

Police have confirmed that five individuals were injured after a fire broke out on a fishing vessel carrying 15 people.
Police stated that the injured individuals include two Maldivians and three foreign nationals.
In a message to the media, the police stated that they received a report on Saturday regarding a fire breaking out on a fishing vessel near Kurumba Maldives resort. The authorities further confirmed that the incident was reported at 14:54 on Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to the scene following the incident. According to authorities, the injured individuals were transported to Male' aboard a Kurumba Maldives vessel at approximately 03:30.
Regarding the incident, the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated that the Hulhumale’ Fire Station under the Male’ Area Command responded to a fire that broke out on a fishing vessel traveling near Dhoonidhoo.
