A speedboat carrying nine tourists has capsized near K. Gulhifalhu.
The MNDF Male’ Area Command Coast Guard Second Squadron has rescued several individuals after their speedboat capsized near Gulhifalhu. According to the MNDF, all passengers were safely transported to Male' at approximately 09:40 on Thursday morning.

A speedboat carrying nine tourists has capsized near K. Gulhifalhu.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) reported on Thursday that the Coast Guard Second Squadron of the Male’ Area Command has rescued several individuals after their speedboat capsized near Gulhifalhu.
The nine tourists, two crew members, and the captain of the vessel "Bullet Speed" were rescued from the water by a passing speedboat, the "Beach Stone," after their vessel capsized.
The MNDF stated that the individuals were subsequently transferred to a harbor craft from the Coast Guard Second Squadron of the MNDF Male’ Area Command, which attended the scene. All individuals were safely transported to Male’ at approximately 09:40 on Thursday morning.
The MNDF stated that there have been no reports of serious injuries to any of the individuals who fell overboard during the incident.
