Male' City Mayor Adam Azim has raised serious concerns over a recently published audit report of the City Council, alleging that land in the capital was sold below market value during President Muizzu's tenure as Mayor.

Male' City Mayor Adam Azim, who is contesting for re-election on the MDP ticket, has stated that the PNC must be removed from power before the lands of the Male' region are completely partitioned and sold off. He warned that failure to do so would leave the capital beyond saving.
Azim made these remarks while speaking at the MDP's "Heyvalla Thayyaaru" campaign rally.
Azim stated that the findings of the audit recently released by the Male' City Council are deeply alarming. The audit covers the period when the current President, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, served as the Mayor of Male'. Azim noted that the audit reveals instances where the same plot of land was repeatedly allocated to multiple parties. Furthermore, Azim highlighted that the land audit of Male' indicates that numerous properties were sold off at undervalued prices during President Muizzu's tenure as Mayor.
Azim stated that the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) is the only political party capable of ensuring a content and fulfilling life in island communities. He further noted that providing essential services such as clean water, sanitation, and electricity is a core tenet of the MDP's ideology.
Azim stated that the country can only be steered back onto the right track by voting for the MDP. He further asserted that no party other than the MDP is capable of providing compassionate governance for the people. Azim emphasized that a vote for the MDP would result in nothing but progress and prosperity for the citizens.
