Germany extends official welcome to President Muizzu
During a formal ceremony held at the German Presidential Palace, President Muizzu inspected a guard of honor and signed the official visitors' book. This visit marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Germany.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and his accompanying delegation have been accorded an official welcome during their current visit to Germany, following an invitation from German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The ceremony took place on Tuesday at the German presidential palace, Schloss Bellevue.
During the ceremony, President Muizzu and President Steinmeier inspected the Guard of Honor assembled in their honor. This was followed by the introduction of the delegations from both nations, after which President Muizzu signed the official visitor's book. According to the President's Office, the two leaders also posed for a commemorative photograph to mark the occasion.
President Muizzu’s ongoing visit to Germany coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Germany.
