Gastroenteritis cases on the rise: HPA
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has urged the public to practice frequent handwashing with soap and maintain food hygiene following a recent surge in cases of diarrhea and vomiting. While health authorities advise increasing fluid intake for those infected, hospitals have noted a significant rise in pediatric consultations for these symptoms since the reopening of schools. Consequently, the HPA emphasizes that prioritizing personal hygiene is essential to curb the spread of the illness and ensure public safety.
