Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with supporters of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) in Kudahuvadhoo island of Dhaal atoll during a brief stop as part of his visit to Hirilandhoo island of Thaa atoll.
The meeting saw a strong turnout from MDP members in the region, who gathered to discuss the upcoming Local Council Elections.
During his address, Solih urged all factions within MDP to unite and work together to secure a victory in the Local Council Elections, which will follow the completion of the primaries.
He emphasized that a unified approach would yield positive results across all constituencies, reinforcing the need for collective efforts to achieve electoral success.
Solih reassured MDP supporters of his unwavering commitment to strengthening party unity, stating that he would do everything in his power to ensure MDP is well-positioned for success in the elections.
