Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025 set to kick off on Monday
Young badminton stars from eight nations are set to dazzle at the Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025, with 347 players ready to battle it out in over 700 thrilling matches.

The Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025 is set to begin on September 1, and will run through September 6 at the Kulhivaru Ekuveni Badminton Hall.

Organized by The Badminton Club, the tournament provides a dynamic platform for young talent to shine. This year’s event will see 347 players from eight countries, including 30 international participants, competing in a total of 733 matches.

Dhiraagu Maldives Junior Open 2025 set to kick off on Monday

The competition is structured across six age divisions: Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, and Under 19, offering opportunities for youth at all levels to participate. In addition, the tournament includes a dedicated Para and Special Olympics category, underscoring a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity in sport.

Dhiraagu continues to support the development of sports in the Maldives, with a strong emphasis on fostering healthier and more active communities through such initiatives.
