The Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) has officially set a new benchmark as the largest gaming event ever held in the country, drawing over 1,500 registered players from across the Maldives, including participants from various atolls and islands.
Demonstrating Dhiraagu’s robust 5G capabilities and advanced network infrastructure, more than 150 players competed simultaneously on fully online servers, which is an unprecedented technical achievement for the nation.
Hosted in Malé City, DMGC 2025 featured four major game titles played live under one roof, all connected through Dhiraagu’s network. This large-scale integration marks a first for the Maldives and highlights the company’s commitment to pushing technological boundaries in the region.
The event was made possible with the support of several key partners. MINISO served as Premium Partner, alongside Elite Partners Sheesha, Peekaboo, Megachip, and Villa Mart. Raajje Gaming Community joined as Gaming Partner, SIDIBARI as Content Partner, and Buruzu Catering provided food services for the event.
At DMGC 2025, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament concluded with LNN Sleepingforest claiming the championship title after an impressive performance throughout the competition. VIGANI secured the runner-up position, while TIL VALHALLA finished as the second runner-up. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) title was awarded to LNN SLFO REEMAZ, recognizing his standout contributions and gameplay during the tournament.
In the PUBG Mobile tournament at DMGC 2025, SDMZ ESPORTS emerged as the champions after a dominant run, showcasing exceptional teamwork and strategy. VE E2S TM7 claimed the runner-up spot, followed by LF AKAZAYA in third place and ANTEIKU in fourth. The tournament’s MVP title was awarded to SDMZ HAITTE, who delivered consistently high-impact performances and played a pivotal role in his team’s success.
In the FC25 tournament at DMGC 2025, Ismail Zakwan Shihad claimed the championship title after a series of commanding performances on the virtual pitch. Hussain Yaish secured the runner-up position, followed by Mohamed Aiman Ahmed in third place and Mohamed Zayan Ismail in fourth. Despite finishing second, Hussain Yaish was named the tournament’s MVP, having scored an impressive 44 goals, the highest in the competition.
In the Rocket League competition at DMGC 2025, ORYO secured the championship title with a standout performance marked by skilled coordination and high-speed gameplay. EXILE took the runner-up spot, while SYNDICATES and ANEH SPORTS finished third and fourth, respectively. The MVP honors went to MADHIN, whose consistent impact and highlight-worthy plays were instrumental throughout the tournament.
