56-year-old dies in accident in Addu City

A 56-year-old man has died in an accident in Addu City.

Media officer at Maldives Police Service (MPS) has confirmed that the 56-year-old died while receiving treatment at Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

Police were informed of the accident at around 9 pm on Tuesday.

According to Addu Live, the deceased is Ali Haneef, from Maradhoo.

The accident occurred when Haneef lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to skid.
