Police team active in the region where a dead body was found inside a house in Henveiru
A person has been found dead inside the bathroom of a residence in Henveiru district of capital Malé City.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that a team was dispatched to the scene shortly after receiving the report sometime late Wednesday.
The body was discovered on the fourth floor of H. Violet.
RaajjeMV understands that the police were alerted after residents near the Damas Furniture store reported a strong odor of decay that had persisted for about four consecutive days.
It was reported that a decomposed body was found upon inspection.
Speaking to media, the police revealed that the deceased has been identified as Abdulla Mufeed, 46, from G. Lanka.
