The government has dismissed Dr. Vitaliy Lyubimov, the foreign Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) appointed to Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO).
The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) said that Lyubimov, who served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) was dismissed from the position on Sunday. However, the reason for his dismissal has not been disclosed.
Lyubimov was appointed to the position on 9 December 2024. He is the first foreign Managing Director to have been appointed to MIFCO.
