Abdul Razzaq Haleem, CEO of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), has been appointed as Managing Director of utility company Fenaka Corporation.

Haleem was appointed after Managing Director Ahmed Shareef was appointed as President of Elections Commission (EC) on Tuesday.

Sources report to RaajjeTV that Haleem was appointed as managing director in a meeting held by the Board of Directors. He is to govern Fenaka until another is appointed to the position.

Haleem was previously the head of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Ltd (MTCC) and filled senior positions at Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) as well as the President’s Office.
