The age of bowing to tyranny is gone, says MP Saud

The age of wholeheartedly and blindly following a state’s leader is gone, MP Saud Hussein has said.
He said in a tweet on Monday night, that following leaders blindly, and having them jail and punish those that do not are policies that have been outdate since the 16th century.
While the parliamentarian says this, he has been apprehended and remanded a number of times by the Criminal Court. On August 20th, he was released with provisions.
Some of said provisions include not leaving the house between the hours of 21:00 and 07:00 and not meeting or interacting with anyone who could be a potential witness in the prosecution’s case against him.
In a tweet following the aforesaid, he called on the government to abandon its ‘totalitarian tactics’ and work to build trust amongst the public.
