HDC off to a good start after beating City
HDC's next match in the National Tournament is scheduled for Monday evening against Blues. HDC won the Volleyball Association Cup last year. Since then, HDC has also won the recently concluded National Volleyball League.
HDC's Mubashar Raza won the best player of the match title
HDC Club is off to a good start in the ongoing National Volleyball Tournament, after winning the match against Sports Club City.
In the match played on Sunday night at the indoor court of the Youth Center, HDC Club won in straight three sets. HDC Club won the sets 25-21, 25-19, and 25-20. Mubashar Raza, the foreign player of HDC, was chosen as the best player of the match.
Four teams are competing in the National Volleyball Tournament. They are HDC, Sports Club City, Maldives National Defense Force Club, and Blues For Volleyball. After each team meets every other team, the top-ranked team will directly qualify for the final. The second spot in the final will be secured by the winner of the semi-final played between the second and third-ranked teams.
