Fuvahmulah City has won their second Group A match in the ongoing Ninety Plus Gold Cup football tournament.
The team’s second match was played at the Galolhu National Stadium on Monday evening.
Fuvahmulah triumphed over HA. Dhidhdhoo with a large margin of 7 – 3.
Ali Shamaal Abdulla took the lead for the winning team in Monday’s game.
He scored a second goal to extend the lead.
33 minutes into the game, Adam Azim scored Dhidhdhoo's first goal.
The third goal for the winning team was scored by foreign player Kofi Osusu. Hussain Shifah scored Dhidhdhoo's second goal in the first half.
Shortly after the second half kicked off, Kofi scored a fourth goal for the team and went on to score a hat-trick in the 81st minute, scoring the winning team’s fifth goal.
Mohamed Iyash Ahmed scored their sixth goal.
The winning team’s seventh and final goal was scored by Hussain Shareef Mohamed.
Dhidhdhoo's third goal was scored by Shifah from a penalty.
