Adhaalath Party Foreign Relations Committee Chair Shidhatha Shareef says that for some corruption was synonymous with development.
Speaking in the rally in Kamadhoo island in Baa Atoll, Shidhatha said development associated with corruption was unacceptable to public. Real development, she said was seen in services granted to public and will be seen in public.
Shidhatha said the joint opposition was working to ensure the public had access to real development.
The joint opposition, she said, valued public input and working closely with citizens, stressing this was vital. Any attempts to coerce the public, Shidhatha said will fail in the end.
