Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s mother, Moomina Hussainfulhu has been laid to rest.
Moomina Hussainfulhu was buried at Galolhu Cemetery after Maghrib prayer on Thursday.
Her funeral prayer was held at the Islamic Center.
Her funeral was attended by several members of the general public, including senior government officials, people who have served the state as well as senior figures of political parties.
Several members of the general public as well as senior government officials including President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, and many other politicians offered condolences following the death of the ex-president’s mother.
Moomina Hussainfulhu passed away on Thursday morning, while receiving treatment at ADK Hospital.
Following her tragic passing, the former ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), offered condolences to their leader, the former president.
