Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Fathmath Muna has been suspended.
RaajjeMV was unable to confirm the reason for her sudden suspension.
Speaking to RaajjeMV on Thursday, media official at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said that a case involving the recently appointed PS at the Youth Ministry had been filed at the Commission, and that they have launched an investigation into the matter. However, he did not reveal any further details.
Appointed to the post on the 1st of August, Muna had previously filled the post of Corporate Affairs Director at the Maldives Media Council (MMC). She has a Bachelors in Management and Marketing, as well as a Master's in Business Administration.
Muna began her career in government in 2005, as a secretary at Gaafu Alifu atoll office.
