Privately-run television station RaajjeTV has launched a special web page dedicated to the Euro football tournament kicking off in Germany this month, as well as the South American region football tournament kicking off in the United States.
The page was officially inaugurated by two former captains of the national football team, Golden Captain Assad Abdul Ghani and Shah ‘Saya’ Ismail.
The website will feature the latest updates of the two tournaments including details of matches, how teams are divided into groups, tournament-related news, reports, as well as information related to prominent players from both tournaments.
Further, the page will also include information on each country competing in the two tournaments.
The page will show the results of the teams' qualification games to qualify for the tournament, the preparations the teams have undergone for the tournaments, their relationship with football, as well as other general information.
Speaking at the launching event at RaajjeTV’s studio, Golden Captain Assad stressed that while everyone knows the situation the sport is in the country now, the state of football in the country is very poor.
At such a critical time, he stated that a tournament like Euro would play a big role in bringing back the fun spirit of the sport.
Shah, who has also served as the General Secretary of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM), revealed that judging by the efforts carried out with RaajjeTV in the coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, he is confident that RaajjeTV would be successful in providing the latest updates of the tournament, with the public.
Shah expressed confidence that RaajjeTV’s page will have the latest updates, adding that from the stadiums where the games will be played in as well as information on individual players, will be available on the page.
RaajjeTV's web page dedicated to Euro and Copa America has included a live blog at the time of the games so that readers can get the latest information about the games.
RaajjeTV has in the past launched a page dedicated to the Euro football tournament in 2021 and the OFF-FIFA World Cup in 2022 as well, bringing the latest updates to the readers.
