The Maldives National University (MNU) is to hold its annual international research conference titled ‘Theveli’, in August this year.
In a press release issued on Monday, MNU revealed that the sixth edition of ‘Theveli’ international conference will be hosted from August 19 – 20.
Revolving around the theme “Bridging boundaries: exploring synergies across research disciplines”, this year, the conference is being held with the purpose of increasing research and expanding the research network, to provide a platform for research papers and to boost the visibility of Maldives among international universities.
‘Theveli’ is one of the largest conferences held in the Maldives, and is attended by scholars from around the globe, to present their academic research every year.
The conference also aims to assist students and employees pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy, to assist in the establishment of policies for the country on the basis of academic research and national decision making.
The conference is organized by the MNU Research Development Office.
MNU revealed that research papers will be submitted at the conference in several languages including English, Dhivehi and Arabic.
As MNU is committed to enhancing technical academic research with a special focus on research, the conference has proven to be significant for both the university and the island nation, to share knowledge and experience of important academic research.
The deadline to submit abstract papers is set at 23 May 2024 and they will be approved on 23 June 2024.
Registration will be opened on 3 August 2024.
