The President sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on her re-election on Monday
The Maldivian leader has congratulated Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina on her re-election.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu sent a message of congratulations to Sheikh Hasina, following her re-election as the Bangladeshi PM, on Monday.
Congratulating Sheikh Hasina on behalf of the government and people of Maldives, Muizzu recognized her leadership and commitment to the people of Bangladesh.
Further, the Maldivian leader also shed light on the longstanding history of close neighbourly relations enjoyed between the Maldives and Bangladesh, based on mutual understanding, respect and shared values.
The president expressed confidence that under PM Sheikh Hasina’s leadership, the relations between the Maldives and Bangladesh will contribute to mutual prosperity and benefit both nations.
