Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has departed on an official visit to the Republic of Montenegro.

Vice President Hussain departed to Montenegro from Velana International Airport (VIA), on Saturday.

During his Montenegro the Vice President is scheduled to attend the Third Congress of Democratic Montenegro. The congress is scheduled from 24 December to 26 December, 2023.

During the congress, VP Hussain will address the congress at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Internal Policy, European and Foreign Affairs and President of Democratic Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić.

Maldives established diplomatic relations with Montenegro, 24 November, 2009.
