The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef.
The meeting took place at the President’s Office, on Saturday.
During the meeting, the President of the GCTP and the Vice President discussed several topics, ranging from collaboration in various sectors to providing opportunities for young people to prosper in their fields. The President of the GCTP shared their vision of propagating a culture of tolerance and peace through diverse channels, including education, media, dialogue, and cooperation.
Additionally, the President of the GCTP elaborated further on the GCTP’s initiatives, such as scholarships, educational courses, and knowledge exchange programs. In response, Vice President Hussain expressed interest in the potential for these initiatives to train young individuals to become future leaders in their fields.
The meeting concluded with the GCTP President and the Vice President expressing their mutual commitment to future collaboration.
