Oman implements visa exemption policy for Maldivians
 
Maldivian government considers this as a gesture of close and cordial relations between the two countries
 
Maldivians holding valid passports can enter and stay in Oman for a maximum period of fourteen days
 
The visa exemption is subject to certain requirements including passport validity of minimum 6 months

The Sultanate of Oman has implemented a visa exemption policy for Maldivians.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives revealed that Maldivian nationals travelling to Oman will be exempted from entry visa.

The Ministry went onto note that visa exemption allows Maldivians holding valid passports to enter and stay in the Sultanate of Oman for a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the day of their entry.

The visa exemption is subject to certain requirements including passport validity of minimum six months, a prior and confirmed hotel booking, health insurance, and a return ticket.

The Foreign Ministry notes that the government of Maldives considers the visa exemption to Sultanate of Oman for Maldivians as a gesture of close and cordial relations between the two countries and a testament to the high regard accorded to the Maldives by the Sultanate of Oman.
