BML publicizes working hours for Ramadan 1444
Ramadan 1444 falls on March 23, a Thursday
BML revealed that requests received after the cut-off times will be processed on the next working day
BML branches and service centers will be open for services from 9:30am to 12pm

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has publicized its official working hours for the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan 1444.

The country’s national bank announced their official working hours for the upcoming fasting month as well as the first seven days of Shawwal 1444, earlier this week.

As such, BML revealed that their branches and service centers across the country will be open for services from 9:30am to 12pm.

Further, self-service banking centers spanning the scatter of islands comprising the Maldives, are to continue providing deposit, withdrawal and transfer services on a round-the-clock basis.

BML went on to reveal that cash agents stationed in inhabited islands will be providing basic banking services to customers during the upcoming fasting month.

Customers have been urged to reach out to the bank through their contact center, for further inquiries.

During Ramadan 1444, BML revealed that the requests for international transfers, BML cheque processing, payroll, local payments and transfers will be processed on the same day if deposited by 11am.

Further, cheques deposited via ATM vestibules before 9am will be processed on the same day, for local payments and transfers.

The country’s national bank revealed that requests received after the cut-off times will be processed on the next working day.

Customers have been encouraged to bank from home using their internet banking and mobile app for convenient everyday banking.
