BML expands gift cards to many retailers across the capital.
Bank of Maldives (BML) extends gift card availability
Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded their Gift Card services and made them available at an extended range of retailers.
BML held an event to announce this on Sunday evening at the Civil Coffee Society, where gift cards are also available for purchase. The audience was each given a special version of the card called Aharenge Bank (‘My Bank’).
The gift card is a prepaid card that allows users to use a fixed amount of cash upon its purchase. The gift cards, partnered with MasterCard, is available in MVR 200, MVR 300, MVR 500, MVR 700 and MVR 1,000.
At the event, BML’s deputy CEO Mohamed Sharif said that the gift card was named as such because it makes a wonderful gift to anyone.
“After today, our gift cards will be available through many retailers across the capital” Sharif continued.
Customers can use the card to make purchases through any of the bank’s POS terminals.
Aharenge Bank is a campaign launched to develop relations between the bank and the public.
