The Bank of Maldives (BML) has established a branch in Gan island of Laamu atoll.
BML CEO Andrew Healy inaugurated the branch on Thursday, and said the branch is part of the bank’s recently announced initiative to produce 150 new jobs.
The branch will provide 24-hour ATM services.
The bank has 34 branches in 20 atolls – with 83 ATMs in total.
BML had also consistently conducted social work under its ‘Aharenge Bank’ campaign, which literally translates to 'My Bank' and is aimed at improving relations between the bank and the public.
