VP Naseem heads to UAE to attend World Government Summit 2023
VP Naseem is scheduled to speak at the Future of Work Forum as part of the visit
The Vice President departed to UAE to attend the World Government Summit 2023 on Sunday
Vice President Faisal Naseem has departed on an official visit to the middle east.
VP Naseem departed on the official visit to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday.
His visit carries the purpose of attending the World Government Summit 2023 and comes upon the official invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Scheduled to take place from February 13 – 15, this year’s World Government Summit will revolve around shaping a better future for humanity and highlight six main themes.
The summit will bring together world leaders, global experts as well as decision-makers to exchange ideas and contribute to development policies and models that will prove to be critical in defining future governments.
VP Naseem is scheduled to speak at the Future of Work Forum as part of the visit.
Further, he will also be attending the launching ceremony of the "Maldives Leadership Programme."
The "Maldives Leadership Programme” is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the governments of the Maldives and the UAE during 2022.
VP Naseem will be concluding his visit and returning home on February 16.
