MDP team heads off to North for LCE 2017 campaign

A special team from the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has headed off to Haa Alif and Haa Dhaal Atolls for campaign in upcoming Local Council Elections.

The team is led by MDP Deputy Leader Mohamed Shifaz, Vaikaradhoo Constituency Parliamentarian Mohamed Nazim, Mulaku Constituency Parliamentarian Ibrahim Naseer.

Many islands in the two Atolls will be covered under this campaign trip and the team will hold special rallies.

The team will open headquarters of MDP in Nellaidhoo island on Thursday, with a special rally in Kulhudhuffushi island on Friday. Another rally will be held in Baarah island on Saturday.

MDP is in the midst of a special campaign for the Local Council Elections which will be held on 5th of May.
