Runner-up of the Second Division football tournament, Club Teenage has secured points against two teams in the ongoing Dhivehi Premier League qualifications.
Teenage secured a point from Da Grande, earlier. Da Grande was pushed into playing the qualification round after falling to the bottom of the Dhivehi Premier League table. Both teams drew in the qualifications round 2 – 2.
In the second game, Teenage won a point against Super United Sports (SUS), after showing a strong defence play.
Although the match ended with neither team able to score, Teenage had put in their best efforts to ensure the opposing team didn’t score.
SUS won the first match in the Dhivehi Premier League qualifications earlier, against Buru Sports Club with a score of 2 – 0.
SUS attained four points in both matches and is to compete against Da Grande, next.
Teenage has secured two points in both matches.
The fourth qualifications game will be between Da Grande and Buru Sports Club.
The two teams who stand a chance to play in the Dhivehi Premier League of the next season are the two teams that attain the highest number of points in the league round amongst the four teams.
