FM Shahid hopeful that Maldives-Colombia close bonds will continue to solidify
The foreign minister also extended his best wishes for the good health of his Colombian counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has expressed hope that the close bonds of friendship and cooperation that exist between Maldives and Colombia, will continue to solidify in the future.
He said this in a message of felicitations sent to the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia, Marta Lucía Ramírez on the occasion of their Independence Day, on Wednesday.
As such, the Maldivian minister expressed his earnest hope that the close bonds of friendship and cooperation that exist between the two countries will further strengthen in the years ahead.
He extended felicitations of the Independence Day of Colombia to the Vice President and Foreign Minister of Colombia as well as the government and its people, on behalf of the people and government of Maldives.
The foreign minister also extended his best wishes for the good health of his Colombian counterpart.
