National Museum and Utheemu Gandu'varu to be closed on Sat.

Department of Heritage has announced that the National Museum and the Utheemu Gandu’varu will be closed on Saturday, May 6.

According to a statement issued by the Department of Heritage on Thursday, both the National Museum and the Utheemu Gandu’varu will be closed on May 6 due to the Local Council Elections. Voting for LCE 2017 is to start at 7 am on Saturday.

Furthermore, the department noted that starting May 7, the National Museum will be open from 10:15 am to 3:30 pm, and the Utheemu Gandu’varu will be open from 8:15 am to 1:30 pm every day, except for Fridays.
