Vice President Faisal Naseem is in Fuvahmulah City on an official visit.
The vice president departed from Velana International Airport (VIA) on Saturday afternoon.
In Fuvahmulah City VP Naseem will be attending a function to mark World Environment Day, during the two-day official visit.
He will also participate in the "No Vehicle Hour" bicycle rally planned as part of World Bicycle Day celebrations.
Further, the visit will also see VP Naseem inaugurating the Table Tennis Hall developed in the southern city, which is also his home island.
VP Naseem will conclude his official visit and return to Malé City on Sunday evening.
