Police seek public assistance to identify dead body

Maldives Police Service (MPS) has sought public assistance in identifying a dead body.
The police institution revealed that they are looking to identify an individual who was taken to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) after being discovered collapsed on the ground near the BG Garage area in Muranga Magu of Maafannu district in Malé City on May 4.
The man was described by the police to be 5 feet six inches in height and aged between 50 – 60 years. The deceased had facial hair and short, gray hair.
He was wearing a light brown t-shirt and a pair of blue track pants when he was found.
The public has been urged to reach out to 3322111 or the police Serious and Organized Crime Department through 9911099 if any information regarding the man’s identity is attained.
