'BML Scholarship Fund': application deadline in 16 days

Application window for 'BML Scholarship Fund' will close in 16 days.
Bank of Maldives states that the deadline for 'BML Scholarship Fund' is April 21, 2022.
The National Bank, Bank of Maldives initiated the 'BML Scholarship Fund' as the first of a series of 12 high-impact monthly community initiatives leading up to the bank’s 40th anniversary to be celebrated in November 2022. The scholarship fund was an initiative announced in February 2022.
BML’s Managing Director and CEO Tim Sawyer stated that the initiative aims to re-invest in the future of the country and will continue on, as an annual event.
The fund will provide fully funded international scholarships for three students in the area of Banking and Finance every year. As such, BML revealed that students may select any undergraduate program in banking and finance related areas such as financial technology, risk management, financial reporting and analytics, or financial engineering.
Locals between the ages of 18 – 25 who have passed A’Level examinations in all subjects, are eligible for application.
The bank will be covering tuition fees, give a monthly allowance, visa fees, book and establishment allowances as well as air tickets for the students selected.
