Lh. Felivaru Harbor Development and Reclamation project is well underway, disclosed Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

MTCC states that dredging and reclamation works are ongoing with 95 percent now completed.

Additionally, the first shipment of rock boulders required for the project have also been delivered to the project site.

MTCC mobilized the Harbor Development and Reclamation project of Lh. Felivaru on March 13.

Under this project, MTCC will be dredging 229,663.36cbm, constructing a 220m quay wall and 148m breakwater, as well as 270m revetment.

Six hectares of land is also to be reclaimed within the scope of the Harbor Development and Reclamation project, valued at MVR 113.39 million.

The project is to be completed within 365 days.
