Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced work on H.Dh. Kumundhoo Harbor Channel.
MTCC held a ceremony to commence the work of Kumundhoo Harbor Channel Project on April 01.
Member of Parliament for Kumundhoo constituency Mohamed Raee, Kumundhoo Council's President Ameen Mohamed and MTCC's CEO Adam Azim, as well as senior officials of MTCC took part in the ceremony.
The scope of Kumundhoo Harbor Channel Project includes; dredging of 9346.56cbm harbor basin and dredging of 4954.91cbm harbor channel.
The company also aims to construct 142m breakwater and 198m revetment.
The project is valued at MVR 35.38 million.
