Bank of Maldives has recognized top performing employees, at its annual staff awards ceremony.
During the awards ceremony on Tuesday night, the country’s national bank conferred recognition awards to honor the outstanding performance and contributions of employees during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, to 17 employees.
Head of Banking Solutions, Afrah Ahmed and the Moratorium Project Team were awarded the coveted CEO’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2020.
Further, the Employee of the Year Award for 2019 was awarded to the company’s Head of Loan Services Hawwa Sheeniyaz Adnan.
CEO and Managing Director of the bank, Tim Sawyer congratulated the award recipients and commended them for their passion and perseverance, which he said, is an inspiration to the whole company.

BML also recently hosted its Long Service Awards in honor of long-serving employees
