VP Naseem concludes four-day visit to the south

Vice President Faisal Naseem has concluded his visit to the south.

VP Naseem departed on his four-day tour of Fuvahmulah and Addu cities on Tuesday and returned to the capital on Friday night.

His first destination as part of the trip was Fuvahmulah City, his home island.

Before returning to Malé City, the vice president also toured Addu City.

Several meetings with key stakeholders and city councils were held during the visit, regarding concerns and interest of the communities.

VP Naseem also toured some important landmarks and checked on the progress of government development projects across both cities.

Further, the trip also saw VP Naseem taking part in multiple important events including the ceremony to inaugurate the construction of Masjid Al-Hudha in Fuvahmulah City and the Service Excellence Programme at Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH).

He also inaugurated the Hifz Committees in both cities.

The vice president was accompanied by a high-level delegation of government officials during the south trip.
