Vice President Faisal Naseem is currently on a tour of southernmost Fuvahmulah and Addu cities.
VP Naseem, accompanied by a high-level delegation, departed to the south on Tuesday and is scheduled to conclude his four-day tour of the south and return to the capital city on Friday.
His first destination was home island Fuvahmulah City, where he met with the city council and key stakeholders.
As part of his visit the vice president will visit institutions and tour several project development sites.
He will also inaugurate some ceremonies including awarding, mobilizing as well as commencement of development projects.
VP Naseem will also be attending functions to begin and complete different educational programmes in the city.
He will then head to Addu City where a meeting will be held with the city council and other stakeholders.
In Addu, the vice president will visit institutions and initiate training programmes as well.
