Maldives fastest runner Hassan Saaid
Maldives fastest runner Hassan Saaid has reached the semifinals of the Islamic Solidarity Games, currently on going in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Saaid completed his heat in 10.40 seconds in the 100 meter dash.
In overall rankings Saaid is at fifth on the rankings.
Saaid’s semifinals are scheduled for 1845hrs on Tuesday.
Maldives will contest in the 100, 200 and the 1500 meter dash and the 400 meter relay. In addition to athletics, teams will contest in swimming, table tennis, tennis and shooting.
A total of 15 members are in the delegation with Saeed Mohamed as the head of the delegation and Mumina Adam as his deputy.
